Our first, and still favorite, placer claim in Wyoming is The Royals Placer Claim outside of Atlantic City in the South Pass area. We've spent many a weekend over the past few years camped there in either our early tent or one of our camper trailers. Spent many an hour in the cold waters of Rock Creek, too! The surrounding area is great for hiking, photography and contemplation as well. We've been fortunate to meet people and invite them to spend time with us on our claim -- and have had our son, Sean and grandson Patrick spend time with us there, too.
